The experience
The landscape before the glass
Casa Montefino sits on the hills above Portofino, in a garden where some of the botanicals behind Portofino Dry Gin actually grow. Before it is a spirit, it is a landscape: juniper, citrus, herbs that take on a character here you will not find anywhere else.
The experience brings guests into that story: a guided tasting through the garden with Paolo, our brand ambassador, followed, for those who choose the full experience, by a Ligurian lunch prepared by our chef, with pairings designed for each course.
Small groups, by reservation only, never open to the general public.

A ritual of your own
Something you plant, that returns in the glass
During your visit, you will pot one of the garden's own botanicals with your own hands: rosemary, marjoram, or another cutting, depending on the season. It stays here, in the garden, to keep growing.
This is not a souvenir to carry away. Once grown, this very plant may one day find its way into Portofino Dry Gin itself.
