2024 Achievements and New Milestones for Biodiversity
In 2024 we completed the second year of our partnership with One Ocean Foundation, supporting their extraordinary work to protect and restore our oceans. From removing 163 tons of plastic to restoring vital seagrass beds—including the second Posidonia Oceanica replanting initiative in the Bay of Portofino, first launched in 2023—and inspiring over 34,000 students to become future ocean guardians, their work is more valuable than ever.
Ocean Cocktail
For Ocean Month 2024, we've created the "Ocean Cocktail," a blue drink with fresh, herbaceous notes and a hint of lavender, specifically to promote awareness of marine conservation.
2023 Achievements
In 2023, One Ocean Foundation achieved significant milestones: through the implementation of 106 initiatives, the Foundation directly reached and engaged over 5100 individuals, including 2400 young people, in environmental education and awareness activities. Notably, the "No Plastic in the Ocean" campaign collected over 30 tons of waste.
Charity Auction
In 2023 we have also launched a charity auction featuring six 5-liter bottles of our gin, customized by six artists. Six unique pieces, that were available for pusrchase by bidding on charitystairs.com with the proceeds benefiting the One Ocean Foundation's cause.
Posidonia Oceanica
Committed to tangible actions, our attention is particularly focused on preserving the Portofino area. In particular, a major joint initiative launched in 2023 aims to revitalise the Gulf of Tigullio through the restoration of Posidonia oceanica - a marine plant crucial for the health of the Mediterranean Sea.
