To celebrate the launch of our Gin Beach Bar at One&Only Portonovi, we took three friends of Portofino Dry Gin; Enrico Costantini, Gresy Daniilidis and Valentina Marzullo, on a trip to discover the beauty of Montenegro and to create some delicious cocktails.

Day 1

Guests enjoyed a Sunset Aperitivo at our Portofino Dry Gin Beach Bar, followed by a delectable dinner at Sabia, overlooking the beautiful Boka Bay.

Portofino Spritz

40 ml – Portofino Dry Gin
20 ml – Campari
15 ml – Simple syrup
5 grapes
Prosecco
Garnish – Orange peel

1. Muddle grapes and syrup in a shaker, add Portofino Dry Gin, Campari and fill with ice –shake until well chilled.
2. Strain into a wine glass filled with ice.
3. Top up with Prosecco and garnish with orange peel.



Day 2

Guests set sail for a private boat tour of Boka Bay; exploring the UNESCO- protected towns of Perast and Kotor, the most beautiful spots in the bay, sheltered between the luscious green hills and the crystal clear waters of the Adriatic Sea. Whilst on board they enjoyed a Portofino & Tonic from our Mario Luca Giusti glasses..

Portofino & Tonic

50 ml Portofino Dry Gin
Premium tonic water

1. Add the gin into a long glass filled with ice
2. Top up with tonic water
3. Garnish with lemon peel and rosemary

As the sunset over Boka Bay guests sipped on "From Portofino to Portonovi” cocktails whilst having a masterclass with the One&Only Portonovi Head Mixologist at the Portofino Dry Gin Beach Bar.

From Portofino to Portonovi

45 ml – Portofino Dry Gin
30 ml – Rosemary syrup
20 ml – Fresh lemon juice
20 ml – St-Germain liquor
Garnish – Blue sea salt

1. Garnish coupette glass with blue sea salt rim.

2. Add Portofino Dry Gin, rosemary syrup, lemon juice and St-Germain to a cocktail shaker filled with ice – and shake until well chilled.
3. Strain into the coupette glass.
